Naked Cosmetics Ivory Stack: Swatches & Review

Hi guys! So last week I attended IMATS in Sydney and had the most amazing time! The main thing I wanted from IMATS was the Naked Cosmetics Ivory Stack which is basically the CND Effects of eye shadows! I was so happy to pick this up for $25 a stack (I also picked up a glitter one) which is amazing considering on the Australian Naked Cosmetics website it retails for $80!

They come in six individual pots but if you remove the lid you can screw them into the bottom of another, thus making the 'stack' which saves a lot of space.

Anyway, I decided to swatch them for you because there isn't that many on the internet!

L-R: 1,2,3,4,5,6

As you can see these pigments are sheer "topcoats" to put over other colours to give them sparkle and more dimension.

Number one is the most disappointing for me as it is just a pearly white where as the others all have a colourful sparkle that really comes out when layered over a dark colour.

Overall I am inlove with this collection! My favourtie is the gold it is sooooo pretty, and my least favourite is number one, it's just a pearly white - a bit boring if you ask me.

I would completely recomend this collection to give sparkle to any look!

Zoya Zuza

Hi guys! Today I'm showing you Zoya Zuza from the Surf collection released in Spring. I swatched this when I first got it when it came out but only just realised I never posted about it, So I've dug it back out of the helmer to show you today :)

Zuza is actually a very unique colour. You never see light turquoise foils like this!. It is pretty opaque, I used two coats for complete coverage, but the formula is also a bit thick.

I really love Zuza! Have you checked it out yet?

OPI Halloween 2012: So So Skullicious Collection Swatches

Hi guys! Today I'm showing you OPI's 2012 Halloween mini collection! It's called So So Skullicious and contains four mini opi shades and some nail decals.

I personally don't find it very halloween, in fact without the black it's more of a summer looking collection to me. Anyway, onto the swatches!

Hi Pumpkin!

A bright  vibrant orange creme. Beautiful, but by no means unique.
This was three coats.

A-Rose From the Dead

A bright pink creme, three coats again.

Mourning Glory

Plain Black Creme, Two coats

Candlelight

Bright Yellow Creme, I needed four coats with this.

I persoanlly think this collection is a big miss. All four colours are so easily dupeable, and because they are such mini bottles & brushes I find them hard to apply. The decals aren't great either..

Hmm, can you tell I'm dissapointed in this collection?

Urban Decay Vice Palette COMPARISON SWATCHES

Zoya Rica over Black

Hi guys! Today I wanted to show you a layering combination I discovered a while back  but have never worn. This is one coat of Zoya Rica over black. I swatched Rica back a little while ago and you might know it's a light coral shimmery shade but over black it comes out like a dark gold with some olivey green flecks and it creates a dark brown base, It's a very fall-esque combo!

ORLY R.I.P

Hi guys! So today is October first and I thought I'd show you Orly's polish from their Flash Glam FX collection called R.I.P. which is very Halloween-esque.

In Australia, Halloween is not a big thing or a tradition among most people (well certainly not in my family). However, as I work in a Party shop we get a big range in for Halloween which I've spent the last few weeks setting up aha

Anyway, I used three coats of Orly RIP, but I would suggest doing a coat of black and then a coat of glitter for pretty much the same effect.

If you're really into this polish I'd say get it, it has a nice formula and the glitter isnt that hard to work with, but to be honest I'm just really not digging this shade on me. I think I wish the glitter was brighter or there was more contrast between the base and the glitter, I don't know. But if you liked that shade from last year called Pumpkin Spice from Sally Hansen you'd probably love this.
