Jade Is The New Black w/ Essie Set In Stone MATTE

Hi guys, quick post today! Today I'm wearing OPI Jade is The New Black with one coat of Essie Set In Stone from the luxeffects collection, and then a layer of China Glaze matte magic.

It was super sunny today so the lighting sort of washed out Jade is the New Black, as it's a few shades darker than my pics.

Happy Holidays! Feat. China Glaze Poinsetta & Tinsel Town

Merry Christmas guys! Here in Aus it's about 11.30pm on Christmas Eve and I thought I'd share with you the mani I sported today! I usually don't like the whole, match your mani to the season sorta thing, but this is quite festive!

I used two China Glaze polishes from the 2011 Let It Snow Christmas Collection: Poinsetta & Tinsel Town. I used one coat of Poinsetta (amazzzzzing application) but Because I was doing a gradient I didn't worry about VNL, I would use two coats otherwise & then used cosmetic sponge wedge to sponge on tinsel town, finishing with a topcoat and viola, a chrissy mani, I actually love it!

Audrey in a Glass Slipper

Hi guys, I'm LOVING my current NOTD & It's very flattering on my nubbins!

I used one coat of an ole favourite, China Glaze For Audrey and then a coat of Sally Hansen Glass Slipper which is mini silverish flakes in a clear base (can you say I LOVE)

Dotticure using Essie Lapis of Luxury

Hi Guys, today was a horrible day, raining, gloormy the works. So I decided to do a sort of rain-esque inspired mani. I used my closest colour to "rain" out of my untrieds: 

Essie Lapis of Luxury 

which is from the Resort Collection and then used Sally Hansen white on and blue me away for the polka dots.

This is three coats of Lapis of Luxury because I had a couple of bald patches as I had never used any of my essies as base colours before and experienced a bit of trouble with their small brush - which would be great if you had a small nail bed.

And I then used a basic dotting tool I got in a set of eBay for like a dollar and created the dots in a diagonal pattern across the top of my nail.

Sorry I've been MIA for a bit!
Anyway, today I recieved OPI 'Do you Lilac it?'
I'd read a couple of reveiws of this colour and I was impressed. I paid about $7 for it on eBay, which is pretty good, because it retails for $19.95 in Australia - which SUCKS.
Anyway, this is a great polish! It seems a little thin when you use it, but it's VERY pigmented and only requires one coat! It can apply a little streaky if you use a really thin coat but it evens out really well by itself.
It's a LITTLE bit dusty I'd say, deffinately not a VERY bright colour, but it's a really beautiful creme and does look brighter in different lighting, ( I can't wait to compare it to OPI 'Planks a Lot'! )
Anyway, I then added an accent nail using an image plate from BornPretty.com and their white stamping polish and then added a small rhinestone an viola!
