Swatches & Reveiw: NEW Urban Decay Vice Palette

Hi guys! Today I wanted to show you the new palette released by Urban Decay for the Holidays! It's called the Vice Palette and contains 20 All new eye shadows and a double ended brush!
The Vice Palette retails for $59 in the U.S. and is limited edition!

Read on after the jump for  swatches!

All swatches are on bare skin. NO BASE

Desperation, Muse, Jagged, Blitz, Penny Lane

Desperation is a dark taupe colour with a slightly frosted finish. It applied smoothly and fairly even.
Muse is a dark chocolatey brown with glitter throughout. The colour was decently opaque but I experienced glitter fallout.
Jagged is a medium brown with big chunks of gold and olive? glitter. It was very sheer and patchy with a lot of glitter fallout.
Blitz is a very yellow gold metallic shade. It applied super smooth with great pigmentation.
Penny Lane is a Bronzey copper/gold colour with a metallic finish. It was very smooth and opaque.

Junkie, Chaos, Occupy, Unhinged, Black Market

Junkie is a greeny teal shade with a golden metallic sheen. Decent colour pay off, smooth texture.
Chaos is an electric blue matte base with glitter spread throughout. I found it a bit patchy with ordinary colour payoff.
Occupy is a blue toned dark grey with silver blue and pink microshimmer, it is OPI Lucertainly Look Marvelous in eye shadow form!
Unhinged is a medium teal shade with a slight metallic finish. Good pigmentation and application.
Black Market looks black in the pan but comes out more brownish when applied. It was smooth, but the pigmentation was so-so.

Provocateur, Rapture, Vice, Noise, Armour

Provocateur is a light pink shade jam packed with chunky glitter. It pretty much crumbles everywhere when you use it. Terrible glitter fallout.
Rapture is a dusty medium purple shade, decent pigmentation.
Vice is a darker purple with a frosted finish, it's more vibrant than Rapture & had better pigmentation.
Noise is a bright pink shade with some sparkle. I felt this was a little dry and didn't look as good on the skin as in the pan.
Armour is a taupe shade, leans more brown on me than in the pan. Smooth & pigmented.

Nevermind, Echo Beach, Anonymous, Freebird, Laced

Never Mind is a light bronzey brown with a frosted finish. Very smooth and amazingly pigmented.
Echo Beach is a light gold with a frosted finish. Pigmented and applies smoothly.
Anonymous is  basically my skintone lol, it's a light creamy colour, smooth and pretty pigmented (but you can't tell cause I'm so pale lol
Freebird is a pale pink with a golden sheen. It was smooth but fairly sheer.
Laced is a pinky beige (not as brownish as it looks on my skin) with a matte finish. Good payoff and very smooth.

Overall this is a very nice palette. With these shades you have the ability to create a neautral eye, smokey eye, dramatic, bold and colourful eye. It has a nice mix of finishes and textures and pretty good shade variety. In terms of value for money it is very good even though the eye shadows are not full sized. Each eye shadow averages to under $3 each PLUS the brush. However, I don't think many of the shades are really THAT unique. While Urban Decay claim these are 20 NEW eye shadows (and they are) I have found multiple very close/dupes from other Urban Decay palettes. I will be posting a comparison post with these probably tomorrow. So stay tuned :)

COMPARISON SWATCHES COMING SOON!
